This is a non-interest bearing account and through this account all basic transactions, such as withdrawals, international money transfers, standing orders and bill payments can be made. This account is only available to customers who have a relationship with the Bank through the other products.

The customer will benefit from free banking if a minimum credit balance of £1000 is maintained on the account. Should the balance drop below this minimum requirement then the Bank will levy a maintenance charge of £35 per quarter.

Unauthorised overdrafts will be charged penalty interest at the Bank's Base Rate applicable at the time plus a margin of 12%. Interest will accrue on a daily basis and be debited monthly to the account. Notification of an unauthorised overdraft will be advised to the customer in writing, and a charge of £20 will be levied.
